Academic Program

Students participate in a wide variety of challenging academic courses that follow the State Curriculum Frameworks in English, math, social studies, science, physical education, health & wellness, technology and business as well as Foreign Language - Spanish. The rigor of the English, math and science curricula prepares our students for success on the MCAS. Students in grades 9 and 10 take math and English every day during the school year to bolster their skills early and to give them confidence as they take the 10th grade MCAS tests.

Academic studies are integrated with technical education to support meaningful connections for students within their disciplines. Those students planning to attending college have access to rigorous courses such as Chemistry and upper level Spanish.  Students also have the opportunity to take advanced placement courses through Cape Tech's membership in Virtual High School.

We prepare students for jobs and success in two-year and four-year colleges and universities.
