Content: This course is designed for those interested in refreshing their culinary knowledge and skills and for those who need to learn the basics of cooking. This is a “hands on class”. You will learn knife skills (proper use, care of, and sharpening), safe food handling, and cooking methods such as grill, fry, roast, sauté, braise, and sear. Misenplace food preparation will be covered.

Home Baking With A Professional Flair

Content: This course is for home bakers who are looking to “kick it up a notch”. Learn tips and tricks to make desserts something extra. Doughs, basic batters, fillings, frostings, pies and decorating techniques will be covered

Number of Weeks: 7 weeks
Content: This is a 7 night course for students who are interested in other cultures and their creative use of cooking ingredients. Join other students as they cook their way around the world. Students will learn how to make sample dishes from countries of the 7 continents
