Nauset Together We Can Prevention Council, Inc. is holding it's 11th Annual Paulie Powers Memorial Spelling Bee fundraiser on May 7th, 2010 and we would appreciate if you could post the attached flyer at your organizations. I have also attached a registration form for any potential teams of adults or students. Below is a Public Service Announcement about the event.

Purpose of Event:
The money raised from this event will go directly to funding the innovative programs and projects and the everyday upkeep of the Nauset Juice Bar Youth Center. The Nauset Juice Bar Youth Center, located in front of Willy’s Gym in Eastham, provides activities, events, and a hangout for the areas youth. The Nauset Juice Bar is sponsored by Nauset Together We Can Prevention Council Inc., a non-profit organization, with the goal of providing engaging activities for teens relating to the identification, development and implementation of community based solutions to prevent and reduce tobacco use, alcohol use, drug and substance abuse, as well as other high risk behaviors.
Description of Event:
Teams of three members will compete in three preliminary rounds to select six finalist teams which will spell off for the championship. We seek a variety of entries. Teams in the past have been local libraries, civic organizations, yacht clubs, student groups, local businesses, and professional groups. The deadline for registration is April 23rd, 2010. We would be delighted if you could register as early as possible. Total registration fee per team is $100.
Snacks and beverages will be provided for all team members.
Trophies will be awarded to the three top teams.
