Hostelling International Applauds Cape Cod Tech Students for Work

Published on Tuesday, June 21, 2011

20 June 2011 -- Hostelling International's New England Director, Deborah Ruhe, applauded students from Cape Cod Tech on Thursday for their work to construct two new cottages at the organization's Hyannis hostel. Teams of students from Cape Cod Tech's Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Carpentry technical program areas gained hands-on learning experience in constructing the new facilities. The buildings will be used as staff housing and a family-style cottage, and will both be open for the 2011 summer season.

The Cape Cod Tech students and instructors that constructed the buildings are joined by Hyannis Hostel staff, Hostelling International New England Director Deborah Ruhe and Cape Cod Tech Principal William Terranova at an event thanking the students for their good work.
