Cape Tech Golf Tournament is Back!
Published on Wednesday, March 18, 2009
Up until a few years ago, Cape Cod Tech held an annual golf tournament to help raise money for scholarships for our seniors. We have decided to reinstate this fun and important fundraising event to give scholarships to our worthy senior student athletes.
We have also decided to name our golf event in honor of a particular individual each year who has made significant contributions to our school district either as a member of our staff, school committee or our many supporters in the local business community.
This year we have chosen as our first Honoree, Mr. Timothy Carroll, former Superintendent-Director of our technical school from 1990 to 2006. Mr. Carroll also served as the school’s first Principal. Mr. Carroll is an avid and talented golfer and was an all-star athlete in high school who has always had a “soft spot” in his heart for high school athletics, so our choice of Tim for this year’s Tournament Honoree is especially appropriate.
Please join us in honoring Tim Carroll and supporting scholarships for our worthy senior student athletes by participating as a golfer and/or sponsor in this fun and valuable fundraising event.
