New School Based Health Clinic Set to Open

Cape Cod Tech’s new School Based Health Clinic is set to open its doors to our students on Monday Sept. 24th at 8:30 am. This new service, a collaborative effort between our school and Cape Cod Health Care, has been in the works for the past two years.
The Clinic will initially be open three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The clinic will eventually operate five days per week. The clinic is staffed by a Licensed Nurse Practitioner and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with support services from our school nurse, Brenda Goff. Services to our students include physical health & wellness, emotional support and information to help lead healthy life styles. All our students are eligible to receive services from the clinic and no student will be denied service because of inability to pay or lack of insurance coverage.
Applications for participation are available in the school nurses office or the main office.
