Scholarships & Toolships
At Cape Cod Tech, we are very fortunate to have many scholarships and toolships available to our students. These awards are organized into two groups.
Group 1 - Scholarships/Toolships require completion of a CCT Scholarship /Toolship Application form. The deadline for all of these applications is March 2nd. Applications submitted after this date will not be processed.
Group 2 - Scholarships/Toolships are local Cape Cod organizations who have their own applications, with varied requirements and deadline dates. Copies of these applications are located in binders in Student Services.
Group 3- Additional scholarships from off-Cape are available in Students Services, organized by due date in multi-colored folders on our table. Even more can be searched on websites, such as www.collegeboard.com.
Instructions: Browse through the Index lists carefully to see if you match the criteria.on the donor’s Information Sheets. Click on the red links to view the donor’s Information Sheet. Please read the instructions for completing these applications very carefully before submitting.
Group 1 - To submit an application for a Group 1 scholarship or toolship, do the following:
• Browse through the Group 1 Index to look for scholarships or toolships where you match the criteria.
• Print a copy of the Group 1 application from the CCT website or pick one up in Student Services. Submit one application and Student Services will make the necessary number of copies needed.
• Answer all questions on the application form. Print legibly using dark ink.
• Mark an “X” on page 3 next to each Scholarship, and/or page 4 next to each Toolship for which you are eligible and applying. Review lists on top and bottom of page.
• Return the Group 1 Scholarship / Toolship Application with the required attachments of your Autobiographical Statement, and 2 letters of recommendations (for scholarships only) to the Students Services Office by March 2nd. Applications submitted after this date will not be processed.
Group 2 - These applications belong to local Cape Cod organizations. Copies are available in our Student Services scholarship /toolship binders.
• Students are encouraged to review the Group 2 Index regularly for updates, as awards are added throughout the year.
• These applications must be completed and mailed by the student to the organization prior to their due date.
• Most applications require a transcript and additional documents. Students must fill out a Transcript Request Form and submit it to Mrs. Mullen. Students will be issued a transcript in a sealed envelope to mail in with their application.
• Other documents may be required. Students are accountable to review the instructions carefully to meet all requirements and mail on time to meet the organizations deadlines.
