Accessing supports for College Success!
This presentation is for all seniors attending college after high school (and those seniors still considering it!)
Doug Terry, Coordinator of the O'Neill Center for Student Access and Support, at Cape Cod Community College, will be presenting to seniors and their parents on the topic: Transitioning to college and tips for accessing support for learning success beyond high school.
Did you know that every college campus has a variety of supports available for all student learners and that you don’t require an IEP or 504 to access these offerings?
Do you have an IEP or 504 and worry about going on to higher education without a support structure in place? Understanding your disability and planning ahead are the keys to a successful college transition. Learn about the process of receiving accommodations in college and the difference in the laws in higher education.
This presentation is applicable – whether you plan to attend 4Cs, or will be starting your college journey on a different campus.
Mr. Terry will provide an in-person presentation with plenty of time built in for all of your questions!
