SkillsUSA State Pin Winner Olivia Matheson

This week the SkillsUSA Executive Board recently chose the 2017 State T-Shirt and Pin Winners from hundreds of entries.  Both the T-Shirt and Pin designs were then brought forward to the State Board of Directors for approval.  This year's State Pin winner is our own Cape Cod Tech Graphic Arts Junior, Olivia Matheson.  Her design will represent all SkillsUSA Massachusetts members for 2017.

She will be honored for her design during the upcoming District One Conference on March 3, at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School in front of her peers.  Olivia will also be recognized at the State Conference in April, where all 1,800 participants will be given one of her pins.

She will compete at the National Skills and Leadership Conference in Louisville, Kentucky this June. During the national conference students will trade state pins with students from all over the country. Her design will be shared from Alaska, to Hawaii, Guam and the US Virgin Islands.  We would like to wish Olivia good luck as she competes nationally and thank her for sharing her talents in representing all SkillsUSA Massachusetts members.
