On Tuesday, August 25th, we look forward to seeing you at orientation at Cape Cod Tech, 351 Pleasant Lake Ave, Harwich MA. Orientation will begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 12:30 pm.

The day will begin with a Cape Cod Tech yellow school bus picking you up at your bus stop at the designated time plus or minus 15 minutes, unless your parents elect to drive you to school. If you plan to ride the bus regularly, we recommend breaking the ice by taking the bus on orientation day. Go to latest news for the bus route.

Upon arrival, our student ambassadors will greet your student and offer them a small breakfast in the cafeteria and then guide the students to our gymnasium where students will be welcomed by Mr. Terranova, our school principal, myself, our admissions coordinator, Mr. Castillias, and 9th grade guidance counselor, Mr. Furey. Student ambassadors will lead students through icebreaker activities and team building stations to allow students to meet other classmates, meet our student ambassadors, and have some fun! At one station in the gymnasium, students will have their school photo taken by Legacy Photography. Make sure to dress appropriately for your school picture. Next, students will receive their schedules and have the opportunity to visit their classrooms. Our Student Ambassadors will guide these tours and answer any questions you might have. The tour will complete when we reconvene in the gymnasium for a brief class meeting, followed by a cookout for lunch. In addition to receiving their Chromebooks, students will also receive their Yondr electronic device pouch on this day. All students will be required to keep all of their personal electronic devices in the pouch all day everyday while attending school. There will be unlocking stations available for all students at the end of the day. If you need to communicate with your student during the school day, please call the main office. Students will be dismissed to their buses at 12:30pm. Students being picked up can also leave at this time. All student athletes must register on Family ID at www.capetech.us and have an updated physical from their pediatrician on file with the school nurse.
