Students accepted to Cape Cod Tech begin their technical education with Freshman Orientation.

Exploratory

Students will alternate between two weeks in exploratory and two weeks in academics.

Phase 1

Each student explores each of the 15 Technical Shops for a single day.

Phase 2

Students choose their top 6 technical areas and spend a full week in each.

At the conclusion of Phase 2 Students will choose their top four shops. Students will be placed based upon their performance during exploratory.
