This page is designed to help students and parents navigate the Admissions Process and make it as smooth as possible.

Grades 9 and 10, the goal of AS is to utilize group and individualized instruction to provide the student the necessary skills to become a learner capable of completing challenging curriculum with increased independence. Emphasis will be on literacy / study skills and supported skills acquisition for a successful MCAS.  Goal is greater academic independence by the end of 10th grade.·

Application Scoring

Applications are scored based on previous attendanc, academic proficiency, discipline and the student interview.

Due to the extenuating circumstances that existed in 2019-2020, the areas of attendance and academic record will only be scored for the period of time leading up to March 13, 2020. These two categories will not be scored from March 16, 2020 through June of 2020. Pass-Fail grades from 2019-2020 will not be utilized. A return to regular attendance and academic recording has been put back in place effective August 2020-2021, per guidance from the Commissioner of Education, and will be utilized as part of the admissions process moving forward.

Attendance

We look at the last two year's of an applicant's Grades (earn a possible 32 points)

Academics

We look at the last two year's of an applicant's Attendance (earn a possible 18 points)

Discipline

We look at the last two year's of an applicant's Discipline (earn a possible 20 points)

Interview

We conduct a Student Interview with every applicant (earn a possible 24 points)
