At the February 15, 2017 Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) Board Meeting chaired by State Treasurer Goldberg, Cape Cod Regional Technical High School was unanimously voted into the Schematic Design phase. Schematic Design continues the process of fine-tuning cost estimates and design features that will culminate with the establishment of a final project scope and budget that will go before the voters on October 24, 2017. The board commented on the positive, collaborative relationship the district has established with the MSBA. Meaghan Callaghan from Senator Julian Cyr's office and the district's architect, Carl Francheschi from Drummmey, Rosane and Anderson joined Business Administrator Erin Orcutt and Superintendent/Director Robert P. Sanborn for this exciting announcement. If approved, the proposed facility would be located to the east of the current facility with the cost estimate for the entire project currently at $141 million dollars.
